Onshore Gas Terminal – Installation of Replacement LER

Techplus supported E&I construction and commissioning for the replacement of the site LER at Dimlington Gas Terminal. The project included installation of a new switch room, control room, cable containment, cabling, and field-mounted E&I equipment.

SCOPE & EXECUTION

Activities included testing, commissioning, and cutover of both new and existing E&I systems, ensuring full integration with the main control room. Work also involved coordination with civil and structural teams for cable trenches, equipment supports, and switch room foundations, alongside site-wide cable pulling and termination of high- and low-voltage and instrumentation cabling.

OUTCOME
The project was delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with client standards. Rapid mobilisation ensured seamless, uninterrupted operations throughout.
